FAQ
Napalm Mix, a powder-based additive, turns gasoline or diesel into a sticky gel by forming long molecular chains. When added to the fuel, the powder dissolves and forms a network through weak attractions, increasing viscosity and causing the fuel to cling to surfaces, resulting in slower burning.
Napalm Mix is exclusively compatible with the X15 and XL18 flamethrowers due to their CO2 pressurization system, which enables higher fuel flow rates and volume output for effective handling of gelled fuels.
This CO2-driven architecture enables high flow ejection of viscous mixtures without clogging, achieving an extended range (up to 110ft on XL18) and broad fuel compatibility. Pump-based systems, such as the ARC and TF-19, are excellent for standard liquid fuels but are not designed for thickened mixtures.
No—napalm is optional and not required for flamethrower use. Standard fuel mixes like gasoline or diesel/gasoline blends work well for most applications. However, thickened fuels such as napalm offer several advantages that some users may find beneficial:
-
Extended Range – The gel-like consistency creates a tighter, more controlled stream, allowing fire to project farther than standard liquid fuel.
-
Longer Burn – Napalm burns slower, producing a sustained “stick and burn” effect instead of a quick flash.
-
Clinging Fire – The thicker fuel adheres to surfaces, ensuring that targets continue to burn after impact.
-
Hard-to-Burn Targets – Especially effective for stubborn or damp materials such as stumps, brush, or vegetation with moisture, where longer flame contact is needed.
In short, you don’t need napalm—regular fuel is enough—but thickened fuel can enhance range, and burn effectiveness in some scenarios.
Transform ordinary liquid fuels into powerful, gelled fire with our non-toxic, non-hazardous napalm gelling agent. Designed for ease of use, this powder quickly thickens fuel into a syrup-like consistency, creating a longer-lasting, high-performance burn.
-
Easy to Use – No special equipment required. Just stir into your chosen fuel for fast gelling (instructions included).
-
Fuel Versatility – Works best with diesel and diesel/gasoline blends, but is also compatible with Jet A, Jet B, AVgas, and ethanol-blended gasoline.
-
Superior Performance – Thickened fuel sticks to targets, retains viscosity, and burns longer than standard liquid fuels.
-
Safe & Reliable – Non-toxic, user-friendly formula for efficient mixing and consistent results.
Perfect for hard-to-burn materials, such as stumps, brush, and damp vegetation.

This is another awesome product!!! If you own a flamethrower you absolutely have to try it at least one time! I would have given this five stars but the price was a bit crazy for how long it lasts. I found that if I measure it in a cup instead of by weight it does not work nearly as well. And when I measure it by weight it works unbelievably well but it really goes fast, almost twice as fast!

Works great to get that long burn

Works great with the diesel/gas mix. Wonderful for lighting large bonfires.

Awesome mix, makes a great sticky fire!!
Jim H –
Napalm mix gives it good range and keeps it burning weather you burning off brush or just playing with it on large boulders
Daniel B –
I like the napalm and the mixing instructions were pretty clear. Have yet to use in xl18 but works great in my x15.
Christopher S. –
Worth it!
Josh –
Easy to use and to prepare my only complaint is that the mix can be on the thin side when it comes to burn time on target.
Alex –
Incredibly sticky with unmatched distance and longevity.
Papa D –
Does a good job of holding the “flame” in my brush piles

Straight fire?
Pootis M –
5/5
Martin R –
Took a few tries to mix it right, but the results cannot lie. Grants further throwing distance along with enhanced bonfire starting capabilities!
JR –
perfect

X15 alone is a beautiful creation. Paired with napalm, it is a whole different beast. Easy to mix, easy to use, don’t shoot this stuff on anything you don’t want extra-crispy.
