Why a CO2 System?
The XL18 flamethrower system is designed with a refillable and exchangeable CO2 tank arrangement, enabling smooth and uninterrupted off-grid functioning as well as the ability for swift “hot-swapping” of tanks to expedite refueling.
The superior range of both the XL18 and X15 is made possible by the pressure provided by CO2, a property that cannot be paralleled by fuel pump-powered flamethrowers (like the ARC). The use of CO2 is primarily advantageous because of its inherent capacity to propel a larger volume of fuel over a greater distance, substantially enhancing the performance of the flamethrower. Compressed CO2
Both the XL18 and X15 come with one 20oz CO2 tank included. Extras are available here.

I love this thing so much.
I have built other ones in the past, and decided to buy this one because I liked how they did the wand design.
It might be a bit pricey, but this is so much fun for gatherings and bonfires.

Bought my boyfriend the XL18 for Valentine’s Day and he is in love lol
I emailed back and forth a bit with Quinn and she rocked it, helped me out and answered all my questions. Thank you guys for the best V-Day present a girl could buy!

THE ONLY WRONG THING MISSING FROM THIS IS A CUP HOLDER FOR MY DRINK

The XL 18 is VERY well made. Totally industrial-grade, just like how this country used to make things. There’s still nothing like American made products from the Heartland.

Absolutely amazing aside from the starter, maybe an electronic starter do I dont have to keep a lighter on me. Otherwise works perfectly.

Mine has the pressure regulator and very detailed instructions which you want to follow because unlike other “flamethrowers” on the market, this is NOT a toy–think 1969 jungles of Vietnam–its that powerful!! It only lasts 6 or 7 seconds on full blast but that amounts to around 20 short bursts– obliterates weeds, zombies, and even the proverbial terminator cyborg that comes along every once in a while….. a little pricey. Still, you get what you pay for and Throwflame is up to the task— besides, who doesn’t want to own a flamethrower?

I know what your thinking, why would I spend this kind of money on a flamethrower. Trust me you just do. The thrower is extremely well built and it comes with instructions that are straight to the point and easy to follow. The first time you pull the trigger on this thing it will change your life it is the best feeling ever! So much fun and I will keep buying parts and supporting this company.

Beautiful!

Unexpected!!! My older brother is a firefighter and he has a flamethrower from a different company. I now have to keep my XL18 under lock and key when he is around if I wish to continue owning it. In short, I love it!

Love it, initially had an issue with the starter, I’m not sure why but it wasn’t sparking where it was supposed to, moving the wires fixed the issue instantly

So much fun. I owned 2 Viet Nam era M9s in the early 2000s. So much easier working with newly manufactured equipment. Easy to fill, charge and fire. Trying to get my NFPA 160 license so I can do public events!

Best money I’ve spent in a long time, it’s an absolute blast, and have made it part of my 4th of July bash I throw every year!
